n 2008, the Australasian Corrosion Association (ACA) won the bid to host the 18th International Corrosion Congress.
Held every three years by various host countries, the International Corrosion Congress is the major event of the International Corrosion Council (ICC), an international body founded to advance corrosion science and engineering.
Abstracts have now closed with over 450 abstract recieved. The ACA now looks forward to welcoming a large contingent from the international corrosion community to Perth, Australia in November 2011 for the 18th International Corrosion Congress.
