his eBook consists of a feature published in the Journal of Protective Coatings & Linings (JPCL) on maintenance coating of a crude oil leading berth, as well as JPCL Buying Guide material on selecting and specifying coatings for Offshore Platform applications in various exposure environments. All information is based on the original dates of publication in JPCL.
The Buying Guide is organized by various exposure types, such as “Jacket Immersed Area,” for steel substrates. Then, coating manufacturers are listed in alphabetical order, with each company’s preferred system named in both proprietary and generic terms. Finally, contact details are given for all the companies.
This collection is designed to provide general guidance on selecting and specifying coatings for Offshore Platforms, and then to give sources for acquiring the appropriate systems.
