NACE International welcomes it newest NACE section—Xi’an China Section. The section, founded earlier this year, is the third NACE section in China.
Xi'an lies on the Guanzhong Plain in central China, and is known as a leading center of training for engineers.
Officers of this section are elected from experienced specialists working many years in the field of corrosion control and prevention. Most of the officers are currently working in Xi’an Maurer Petroleum Engineering Laboratory. The officers for the 2009-2010 year are Trustee Guoxian Zhao, Membership Chairman Yong Han, Chairman Hongxiang Liu, Vice Chairman Huanyu Wang, Secretary/Treasurer Chunwan Zhang. Mr. Qiguang Li is responsible for the daily affairs of the section.
