NACE涂装检查员证书更新
1.0 总括：
NACE国际涂装检查员课程认证一次有效期为3年。由于涂料行业技术的不断发展以及新产品、新规定、新检查程序的不断演进，NACE国际认为定期地更新课程有助于帮助涂装检查员始终走在技术和管理的前端，并且始终精通涂装检查的方法和程序。
2.0 更新方法：
被NACE国际认证的涂装检查员有2种方法可以更新他们的认证。方法如下：.
Method A: 成功通过下一级的CIP课程。（如果已通过CIP 2, 下一级的CIP课程就是指Peer Review）申请人必须在3年的有效期到期前申请下一级的CIP课程并付清所有费用：费用：根据是否是NACE会员会有不同的课程收费标准。
Method B: 通过自学来更新认证需要提交的材料清单，目前还在修订中，暂不发放。
通过方法B来更新认证的话，需要完成并提交申请表、工作经历文件，并付清证书更新费用。
费用: 会员 $140; 非会员 $350.
3.0 更新工作经历要求：
3.1 工作经历评估标准
申请人递交他/她的上次课程认证或复证以来最新的工作经历，将这些工作经历填在下面提供的表格里。这些工作经历将会根据下面的这些标准评估：
a. 与涂料相关的工作经历的种类。
b. 每个月不间断的工作经历对应的学分：
涂装检查 2.0分
其他实地工作经历 1.5分
非实地工作经历 1.0分
c. 下面的这些专业性发展也可能被用来增加您的学分，但通过专业性发展得到的学分不会超过总的工作经历学分的50%：
参加一个列在第四部分的专业性课程（具体得分见下面）
参加一个没有在第四部分中提到的与涂料相关的教育课程（得1分）
发表一篇与涂料相关的论文 (得1 分)
3.2 工作经历定义
用于认证更新，“涂料相关的实地工作经历”指的是“在使用工业保护涂料的实地工作和检查”
3.3 其他要求
认证更新的其他要求包括： (a) 涂装检查员证明，以及 (b) 费用支付 (详见此文件的6.4部分).
4.0 专业课程
NACE International 提供如下的专业课程:
CIP One-Day Bridge Course – 4 points
Marine Coating Inspection – 12 points
Coatings in Conjunction with Cathodic Protection – 20 points
5.0 更新总说明
5.1 确认
更新认证的最后一个步骤是确认所有的要求都达到了，包括支付清所有的费用。当NACE总部完成了这个步骤，申请人将会收到正式的完成更新认证的确认。
5.2 承认形式
5.2.1 完成更新认证的人将会收到新的NACE卡片证书，卡片的证书号是与之前一致的。
5.3 认证到期的通知
申请和完成更新涂装检查员认证完全是个人的责任。没有收到NACE的更新认证通知不能被作为未能申请或完成更新认证的理由。NACE总部会做合理的努力在检查员们的认证要到期时提前90天通知更新认证的要求。
5.4 费用
5.4.1 所有费用均必须以美元支付。
5.4.2 手续费（一次付清，有效期3年).
Method A: 费用为所参加课程的收费
Method B: 会员 $140; 非会员 $350
5.4.3 任何人给NACE付款都必须以现金或是银行汇票的形式。另外，如发生任何的退票，银行会收取手续费用($25)，这部分也都必须在参加任何NACE课程或完成更新认证之前付清。
5.4.4 完成更新认证必须全额付清手续费。
5.4.5 补证的费用详见第5.6部分。
5.4.6 这些费用是2007年1月1日正式执行的，如果需要，NACE有权更改而不正式通知。
5.5 完成更新认证的时间限制
检查员必须在他/她的3年认证期到期前申请并完成他/她的更新认证。
仅对于更新方法 method A， 检查员必须在他/她的3年认证到期前申请并支付清所有参加CIP 课程或Peer Review课程的费用。当检查员第一次申请一门课程后，NACE可能会给予延长30天的认证有效期，或最长延长 1年的有效期，但通常这种情况比较少。
5.6 恢复之前失效的认证
5.6.1 如果一个检查员的认证已失效了0-3年，他/她支付$100的恢复费用及正常的上面提到的更新认证费用，他/她就可以恢复NACE的认证。 如果一个检查员的认证已失效了3-5年，那么他/她就要支付$500的恢复费用及正常的上面提到的更新认证费用，他/她就可以恢复NACE的认证。
5.6.2 在成功完成更新认证及NACE总部收到恢复和更新的费用之前，已经失效的认证将会被显示成“非活动”状态。
5.6.3 如果某个人他/她的课程认证已过期5年或以上，那么他/她就要重新申请并且满足他/她申请时的所有其他条件。没有任何特例。在满足当前条件的情况下，申请人将会获得他/她之前原始的认证号码。
5.6.4 如果检查员的认证已过期显示为非活动状态的话，那么应该就认证的状态向NACE做一下询问。 但NACE只会是回复非活动状态这个信息，并不提供进一步的信息。
5.7 证明
在更新认证时，NACE会要求检查员重新和NACE确认下他/她的检查员认证信息。没有通过核对，他/她将会受到NACE的处罚措施，比如将收回他/她的认证。
5.8 地址更改
通知NACE地址更改信息是申请人的责任。
5.9 取消/没有参加NACE既定的课程
标准的NACE课程取消政策，将按NACE International Education & Training Guide指南操作。
6.0 NACE的大体介绍
6.1 认证的价值
得到认证是使公众、同事、雇佣者和其他人知道的一种方法，他们将会知道你已经得到一个公平机构根据一系列既定评判标准评估后而给你的一种肯定。当然，得到认证也会给你一种成就感，这意味着你在一定的领域内你是非常专业和领先于他人的。

Since July 1992 have been the person assigned to take off measurements and provide information to supervisor for inspection bid preparation.

Worked in field helping set up and take down blast cleaning and painting equipment. Tended equipment to make sure it didn't run out of abrasive or paint. Made sure the paint was mixed right, and that the equipment was cleaned up at the end of the day.

4. NACE has a firm policy regarding the use of its logos and CIP/certification numbers and titles. All active CIP card holders are permitted to use the term “NACE Coating Inspector Level 1 – Certified”, “NACE Coating Inspector Level 2 – Certified” or NACE Certified Coating Inspector – Level 3” (whichever level of recognition is attained), and their CIP/certification number on business cards. This example illustrates how this information can be used someone who has achieved Level 1 certification:

Those who have achieved any level of certification and who are members in good standing of NACE International may display the NACE Logo for the purpose of identifying the individual as having achieved NACE certification.
I understand that violation of these rules will result in action against my standing in the program on the basis of violation of the NACE International Coating Inspector Program Attestation.
5. It is the responsibility of the cardholder to complete the renewal or update process, and to notify NACE Membership Services Department of address changes. This certification will expire on the date noted on the card. Failure to receive notices from NACE does not alleviate the cardholder’s responsibility to contract NACE to complete the renewal or update process.
6. I (re)affirm the NACE International Coating Inspector Program attestation and agree to abide by its provisions as long as I hold any level of recognition under the program.
